Route One Glasgow

Route One is a chain of shops that used to be known as Air Circus and originally only sold kites. They are known for aggressively pursuing a policy of opening new stores where existing independent skate shops have already done the groundwork for building a skate scene.

We would suggest supporting independent skater owned store, Clan Skates instead.

While Route One have tried to legitimise their involvement in skateboarding by sponsoring some of the UK’s best skateboarders, they do not contribute positively to the scene in the same way as the best independents do. Remember, the money you spend at Route One does not stay in your scene, or in your city, it goes to the owners and shareholders.

We do not support chains, and we do not support warehouse stores that sell online only. We don’t link to these shops.
